Weekly blog post

This week we learned about new things about how to evaluate websites and things. Some of the new terms we learned are Authority and Sources.Authority is where they get the information and who wrote it. Sources is sorta like Authority the difference between the two is that sources is what the website is about and the facts, and statistics documented.

Our new web 2.0 tool is mindmeister. This website allows you to make things like a spider web plot sorta of speak. You can add pictures and videos into anything you are doing whether it is for school or just to make random things with.

One positive thing about this new tool is that it is fun and cool to use for school projects and things.

One negative thing about the new web tool is you cannot change the background and it is sorta complex to understand.

Our digital literacy component this week is Evaluating websites and how to understand if the website is fake or have actual facts used in the website. A couple ways of noticing that is look through any pictures that the website has and also read any of the comments left by previous people that has been on the website.

This new information is a good thing to use for school things like using things for projects or research papers because you can find out if the information is factual or not. Also you can use it on daily things like Social networks to find out if things are true or not.

Overall this week has been good besides Friday when I got sick other than that this previous week has been good.
